The full-online setup was their response to make sure that learning will continue for the students amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. However, LMS issues ranging from access inability to content matters raised in just one week since the opening. Concerns are treated seriously by the management to further the development of a more effective and efficient system.  The LMS added a new feature that lets the students meet the Online Learning Coordinator (OLC) with their online classmates virtually via Zoom. Yet, some students cannot join the session because the room is always at max capacity. The OLCs in LMS cater not only local campus students, but nationwide. Manila, Philippines The Online Orientation conducted by the AMAES last June 29 and 30 was supposed to familiarize new and old students regarding the function and features of the LMS to be used in their Full-Online Classes. The event was broadcasted nationwide. However, as the orientation for Grade 12 students started, many were surprised with the raised fees despite full-online delivery. The comment section has been showered with concerns, some asking for a petition regarding the increase in tuition fees.  In the orientation, the LMS access was demonstrated and is almost the same as the traditional LMS used in the blended-learning setup. There will be very limited virtual-meeting with the OLC leaving almost all teachers with pending employment status and not receiving tasks and salary since the start of lockdown last March. Manila, Philippines The opening of classes for Academic Year 2020-2021 for Senior High School and College was moved to July 1.  Despite the former announcement that the classes will open in the first week of June, the AMA Education System sets the day-to-day data from the IATF into consideration. Last May 11, the IATF supports the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan of the Department of Education (DepEd) to start the classes on August 24. However, on Monday, President Rodrigo Duterte has responded "I will not allow the opening of classes where students will be near each other," he added. May 20, 2020 Manila, Philippines Last March 15, 2020, the AMAES announced that its school networks will start their school year in June.  DepEd and CHED call for schools and universities to make certain that the learning of the students won't go idle. Amidst COVID-19 crisis, learning must proceed under the new normal. Last May 11, DepEd advised private schools that they may commence the classes as early as June, but none must be held through the traditional F2F setting. So the AMAES will follow a full online learning approach. Government officials from different LGUs are about to encounter new features of this policy to control the crowd - from workers to private individuals. Makati - Philippines Last March 12, 2020, President Rodrigo Duterte suspended the classes at all levels in Metro Manila for one month in line with the announcement of the community quarantine. This announcement has led the AMA Management to convert the remaining one month of classes in Virtual Class using the OEd or LMS platform. That is why the students are confused about seeing duplicates of subjects in their OEd account; one is blended and the other is virtual. Classes are delivered online, but not everyone will pass Makati, Philippines - The memorandum that was issued last March 11, 2020, regarding the implementation of fully online delivery of classes from March 12 until the virus in the Philippines is contained raises questions among the students of AMA Education System.
