[NEWS] "Full Online" kicks in. Should the students say goodbye to their teachers?

Manila, Philippines

The COVID-19 pandemic debilitates the economic growth of our country since the start of lockdown in affected regions, and Metro Manila is one of those deeply affected regions. Numerous employees left hanging by a thread - including our teachers.

As the current pandemic continues to threaten the traditional classroom setup, the AMAES turns the blended-learning delivery (a combination of F2F and online class) to full-online delivery. The students and teachers are now wondering if they will still meet online.

As the institution prepares the platform for full-online delivery, the teachers are temporarily relieved from their duties. This setup will continue until the IATF or the government allows the face to face setup. OLC's (Online Learning Coordinators) and OLA's (Online Learning Assistants) will assist students and ensure the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of the new "full-online" delivery.

Under these circumstances, modules, materials, and further readings are already available online. The system will be generating the assessments together with their evaluation. Hence, the students will not encounter their teachers in online classes, only OLC's and OLA's.

On July 1, the full-online delivery will commence and continue until the IATF allows the traditional setup of face-to-face classroom delivery. Until then, most teachers will be pending from their duties.
