Classes are delivered online, but not everyone will pass
Makati, Philippines -
The memorandum that was issued last March 11, 2020, regarding the implementation of fully online delivery of classes from March 12 until the virus in the Philippines is contained raises questions among the students of AMA Education System.
However, Mr. Ronald Michael Quijano, the Senior High School Head of AMA Makati made clarification with regards to this implementation;
"The memorandum was implemented only last March 12, and effective onwards, the teachers already have the students' records - including attendance, quizzes, etc., - which will help us determine the 50% of their 4th quarter grade. We have the list of those students who did not comply with the necessary requirements for graduation, and those who have committed unexcused and numerous absences, carrying out the 100% online-delivery won't affect the consequences of their deficiencies."
The statement has been released to minimize the growing confusion among the students of AMA Education System. The management is yet to issue detailed guidance for the teachers concerning the delivery of such a policy.
Furthermore, the management is looking for more areas to consider for the upcoming recognition rites and graduation ceremonies. Teachers and students are also expecting an instruction for their unfinished SHS Work Immersion.
