[NEWS] AMAES - The School Year Starts in June, Full-Online Set-up for Classes

Last March 15, 2020, the AMAES announced that its school networks will start their school year in June. 

DepEd and CHED call for schools and universities to make certain that the learning of the students won't go idle. Amidst COVID-19 crisis, learning must proceed under the new normal.

Last May 11, DepEd advised private schools that they may commence the classes as early as June, but none must be held through the traditional F2F setting. So the AMAES will follow a full online learning approach.

This "New Normal" or Full-Online learning approach is being perceived to be challenging to the less-privileged when accessing the OEd platform, especially for those of places under community quarantine.

The students are expecting that this issue will be directed and consider upon launching the Full-online strategy on June 8 for SHS, since the majority of the students in Senior High are voucher recipients from public schools.

The previous platform of AMAES for online learning in the past years has been convenient and accessible for both smartphones and pc. So these same set of students are hoping for - if not the same - better platform.

- So when will the traditional or physical approach takes over?

The Department of Education on May 11, said that the government task force on coronavirus outbreak has approved its resolution to officially start the school year 2020-2021 - physical classes - on August 24, 2020.

Interested students send a personal message to AMA Computer College Makati Official FB page. Once qualified, students can then enroll in Senior High School, and Bachelor’s Degree Programs in Business, Communication, Engineering, and Information Technology-based college courses.

[ANNOUNCEMENT] How to Access your LMS?

1. Goto: http://www.amaesonline.com/ 2. Select the instance where you are enrolled by Clicking 3. You will be taken to the login page 4. Place your login credentials:   a. For those already using Discipulus, use your Discipulus account (11-digit USN and Discipulus password) b. For the others, use your 11-digit USN and password. c. For the password, make sure that it is all in lowercase format. d. Note: 10-digit student numbers are tempo/unenrolled so they cannot log into LMS. 5. After giving the correct combination, you will be able to enter the site. 6. Initially, this will be blank (no subjects) since it is your first time to access moodle.   7. You need to logout, wait 5-10 minutes, and relogin so subjects will appear.  If not then check from time to time within the day.  If not, raise the issue thru Helper. 8.
